Therapeutic Uses
Urinary tract infections (German Commission E approved), kidney stones (prevention and flush), cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, respiratory catarrh, skin conditions (topical). One of the most effective urinary herbs.

Contraindications: Avoid with diuretics (additive effect). Avoid in kidney or heart conditions requiring fluid restriction. Avoid in Asteraceae allergy. Caution with lithium.
Side Effects: Rare allergic reactions. Mild GI upset. Pollen may cause hay fever in sensitive individuals (plant itself when used medicinally is different).
