Contraindications: Contraindicated in pregnancy (uterine stimulant). Avoid with anticoagulants (leonurine has antiplatelet activity). Caution with cardiac glycosides and antihypertensives.
Side Effects: GI irritation (bitter). Uterine stimulation. Contact dermatitis possible. Photosensitization at high doses.
