Contraindications: High doses contraindicated with blood thinners (warfarin, aspirin). Avoid therapeutic doses in gallstones, bile duct obstruction. Use cautiously before surgery.
Side Effects: GI upset at high doses. Stains teeth and clothing. Yellow skin discoloration possible with very high intake.
